Sahyadri College of Engineering

Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management

The College came into existence in 2007 under the aegis of Bhandary Foundation at Mangalore. The college is affiliated to VTU & AICTE and approved by the Govt. of Karnataka & HRD Ministry, Govt. of India. It has excellent facilities for academic, sports and cultural activities. The Faculty members comprise of doctorates and post graduates from IITs, NITs and other reputed institutions. The project activities, seminars, paper presentations and workshops are included in the curriculum in order to help the students gain more experiential learning. The institution regularly invites experts from industry and academia for interaction with the students and conducts the orientation courses to the students.

The institute building is architecturally conceived to provide natural light and air circulation keeping in mind the coastal weather conditions. The main entrance is at the North-East corner and the total built up structure of the main building is about 350,000 square feet with spacious class rooms, laboratories, administrative offices, separate common rooms for boys and girls. The building has been aesthetically designed with four courtyards at the four corners.

Sahyadri campus spread across 30 acres of land is situated on the bank of river nethravathi and adjacent to Mangalore-Bangalore NH-48. Being just 7 km away, Sahyadri campus is one of the nearest institutions to the city of Mangalore.
